• 1) WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE NEEDED TO FISH?

    To fish in Trentino, simply purchase the specific permit from the concessionaire for the desired area. This permit must include your name and surname or identity document number. There are dozens of fishing associations that deal with water management and the sale of permits needed to fish in the province of Trento.

    Some areas have limited numbers and reservations are required.

    NB: For some areas there are multiple-issue booklets at discounted prices

    2) WHAT RULES SHOULD I FOLLOW?

    In each area there are specific regulations; we recommend that you inquire at each relevant Association:

    3) WHEN IS FISHING OPEN?

    • The Sarca river: from the last Saturday of February to 30th September;
    • The Chiese river: from 20th February to 30th September;
    • The Noce river: from the first Sunday of February or from 1st June, depending on the area, to 30th September;
    • The Noce river sector V Masters: from the first Sunday of February or from the first Sunday of March to 30th September;
    • Lago dei Caprioli sector III Youth: from the beginning of May to 31st October;

    NB: in some areas fishing continues until 31 October with specific regulations.

    4) IS IT POSSIBLE TO GO FISHING EVERY DAY?

    • The Sarca river: yes, fishing is open every day; it is closed on Thursday and Fridays only in the Pronta Pesca areas (P) and "Z" Zones. In the Ponte Pià Basin is closed on Friday. For the tributaries, fishing is allowed only on Saturdays, Sundays, Wednesdays and holidays.
    • The Chiese river: fishing closed on Tuesdays and Fridays except for the catch and release areas 1-2-3-4-5.
    • The Noce river (from Mostizzolo to Rocchetta): maximum 3 weekly outings. Closed on Wednesdays.
    • The Noce river (from Rocchetta to Zambana): yes, fishing is open every day, it is closed on Fridays only in the Pronta Pesca (P)areas,
    • Lago dei Caprioli: Yes, fishing is open every day
